CELEBRATING AVIATION EXCELLENCE
AROUND THE WORLD
Thank you to everyone across the industry who submitted an entry for this year’s Pride of Ground Handling Awards — entries are now officially closed!
Building on last year’s stellar record of 180 completed entries, we’re delighted to report a still hugely impressive 179 entries this year, spanning an incredible range of stations and teams from right across the globe.
As a reminder, we grew the awards to 13 categories this year. Digital Innovation, one of our most popular categories, has been divided into three focused subcategories: cargo, passenger experience, and ramp operations. We've also separated Ramp Safety into two distinct categories: Ramp Safety Hero and Ramp Safety Innovation, to allow clearer recognition across both areas.
What happens next
All entries are now going through our judging process, led this year by our Head Judge, Keith Purdom. Many of you will know Keith from his time at Servisair; he is now Founder & CEO of Bluechip Aviation Consulting. We’re delighted to have him — along with a number of new faces on the judging panel reviewing this year’s entries.
• Shortlist announced: end of September
• Winners announced: at the 27th Annual GHI Conference, Olympia, London, on 1 December
We’d like to thank everyone who took the time to enter this year — the standard was exceptional, and we’re excited to share the shortlist with you soon.
Good luck to all our entrants!
